The people behind the bench.
We couldn’t do what we do without our staff. Between them, our reviewers, engineers and director bring decades of hands-on electrical safety testing to every case.
Technical reviewers
A combined 50 years in electrical safety testing. One sits on the EN 60335 technical committee (TC61); the other is an international factory auditor with years of experience in electrical safety testing. Both have run test laboratories for well-known international testing suppliers.
Test engineers
Backgrounds across electrical design and production, software and pneumatics — adding to our unique mix of skills. They’re keen on compliance and always current with updates in electrical product safety. Qualifications include a Level 4 BTEC in electrical/electronic engineering, alongside related degrees and experience.
Company director
A Higher National Certificate in electrical and electronic engineering (1987) and over 32 years in test and measurement — electrical, electronic, software and fault-finding — with many automated test systems designed and built. Audited by UKAS (formerly NAMAS) and British Standards over the years, working in safety and marketability for over 24 years, and has tested and reviewed for many of the UK’s Trading Standards bodies.
