We deliver trusted fault investigations for many of the UK’s recognised brands and retailers, as well as UK Trading Standards — whether the issue is overheating, fire damage or unexpected failure.
We help clients quickly understand what happened, why it happened, and what action to take next. Our investigations provide the technical clarity needed to support safer products, protect brand reputation, strengthen compliance decisions, and reduce the risk of repeat incidents.
Every case is handled with a structured, evidence-led approach tailored to the product, incident history and suspected failure mode. We begin with a detailed examination of the affected sample to identify damage patterns, component failures and other indicators that explain how the incident developed.
Where needed, we carry out controlled testing using reference samples to recreate the fault and confirm the most likely cause. This lets us assess the performance of safety-critical components and determine whether the issue may be linked to manufacturing variation, design choices, misuse or quality-control weaknesses — giving clients practical answers and confident decisions.
